The Challenge
SONICA led AUDIX’s first full-scale on-site engagement marketing campaign at one of the country’s biggest music festivals, SXSW in Austin—the first major engagement marketing campaign in the company’s 40-year history! The result was explosive reach, a surge in brand lift, and multiple artist and influencer conversions (culminating with the Black Keys using the brand’s microphones for their live performance in Austin).
For this sponsorship, AUDIX wanted more than their name on a banner—and they got it! At SONICA, we know what it’s like for brands to spend 5-7 figures on a sponsorship where the ROI is difficult to measure and even more difficult to justify to upper management. For this campaign, we went in with clear goals. SONICA had a content team on site to shoot and edit bespoke content, ensuring we could deliver the right type of algorithm-friendly content for maximum reach. AUDIX received twice the content the team asked for—and three times the reach. (We LOVE to over-deliver!)
