The Challenge
Alvarez Guitars came to us to make waves in the digital world. Outgrowing their reputation as a “budget” guitar brand, we crafted a collaborative strategy to highlight their pro-level guitars and quality build.
We raised brand awareness for a social-first, engagement-focused marketing strategy paired with a digital ad blitz. SONICA conceptualized and produced their new YouTube series, Alvarez TV, which became the #1 acoustic guitar show on the internet, and led the YouTube channel past its first 1 Million views.
During SONICA’s campaign, Alvarez was the fastest growing across all social channels against every competitor, with high engagement and rapid growth on Instagram.
SONICA also revamped the brand’s email marketing concept, growing the list to over 55,000 subscribers with an open rate of between 40-70%, strategically partnering with the biggest names in the music product industry for giveaways, email blasts, and other brand awareness initiatives.
Now, Alvarez is known for their quality, innovation, performance, and consumer-first product development.
